We've collected and answered some common questions we get from dog owners and staff about the Dog Day Care app.

What do I do if my doggy day care centre does not appear in the list?
If you can't find your dog daycare in the list when you add your dog, you can send a request to your dog daycare to get started with the dog daycare app.
Select Search and enter your dog daycare in the search field.
Select Add your dog daycare.
Enter Dog daycare, City and E-mail address of your dog daycare.
Press Send request.
Your request to get started with the doggy daycare app will be sent to the email address you have provided. Once the staff has added your dog daycare, it will appear in the list.
Can several dog owners join the same dog?
Every dog owner who wants to join a dog profile needs to register as a user in the app and Add Dog. If another dog owner has already created a profile for your dog, you will be asked to join the same dog profile when you add your dog.
Important! Be sure to enter the same Name, Breed and Date of Birth for your dog as the first dog owner entered when adding your dog.
If you enter the same information for the dog, you will be asked to connect to the same dog.
Select Connect and you will be connected to the same dog when your request is approved.
If you do not receive a question about joining the same dog, you have entered different data for Name, Breed or Date of birth compared to the previously entered data for the dog. Please check and compare the dog's details with the first dog owner.
How do I deal with the dog's relatives?
Dog owners are registered as users in Jojna. This means that the person has their own login with the authority to manage their own profile and the dog's data.
Family members are not registered as users in Jojna. The person does not have the possibility to modify their own profile or the dog's data.
Dog owners are responsible for adding, modifying and deleting the dog's relatives.
Relatives are people that the staff should have contact details for in case of need.
Note! You do not need to add another dog owner as a Family Member if that person wants to register as a user in Jojna. All registered dog owners connected to the dog are automatically displayed under Family.
To add a family member to your dog, open the My Dog tab and click on your dog.
Select Family members and click on Add(+).
Enter the person's details and select Save.
To modify or delete a relative, open the person's profile and select Modify or Delete.
How do I hide my profile?
You can hide your own profile from other dog owners at your dog daycare. However, the staff can always see your profile.
Open the Settings tab and select My Profile.
Click on Change (the pen at the top right of the page) and select Hide my profile and select Done/Save.
How do I hide the dog's profile?
You can hide the dog's profile from other dog owners at your doggy daycare. The staff can always see the dog's profile.
Open the My Dog tab and select your dog from the list.
Select the Dog's Profile and click on Change (the pen in the top right corner of the page).
Activate Hide the dog's profile and select Done.
Can I change the dog's tasks?
If you want to change your dog's details (such as Name or Profile Picture), open the My Dog tab and tap on your dog.
Select your dog 's profile and click Change (the pencil in the top right corner of the page).
Change details and select Done.
How do I add multiple dogs?
If you want to add more dogs, open the My Dog tab and click on the + sign.
Choose the dog daycare and group and enter the dog's details.
Click on Save and your request will be sent to your dog daycare.
How do I add and change the dog's schedule?
Under My Dog, the Schedule feature allows you to add, change or delete your dog's schedule. You can create a schedule for a single day or choose to repeat the same schedule for multiple days.
You enter the schedule for the days that your dog needs care. On days when your dog does not need care, no schedule is entered.
Press + to add the schedule.
Select the day and time to start the schedule.
Select the end time of the schedule.
Select Done or Repeat the same schedules for other days.
When you choose to repeat the schedule, you specify the days of the week on which this schedule will apply.
Then you choose the day on which this schedule will end.
You can also choose to add the same schedule for all your dogs if you have multiple dogs in the app.
To change or delete a schedule, tap the day in the list of schedules.
Tap Delete to delete the schedule.
Tap Change (the pen at the top right of the page) to change the times. Select Done.
How does the Report Leave function work?
On the My Dog page, there is a function for reporting leave. When you activate the function, the dog will be shown as Free for staff. This will be effective immediately until you deactivate the function.
If you want to declare the dog as free in advance for a future period, you should leave out the schedule for the days on which the dog is to be free. That is, the days that the dog is to be present are indicated with the schedule.
What is the dog's Portfolio?
The dog portfolio collects all posts where the staff has tagged your dog.
Open the My Dog tab and select your dog from the list.
Select Portfolio to see all the entries that the staff have added to your dog's portfolio.
How do I change my phone number?
You can change the phone number for logging in to your profile in the app.
Go to the Settings tab.
Select My profile.
Select Change.
Select Change phone number.
Enter the new phone number you want to log in with.
Select Save.
Log in to the app with your new phone number.

How do I change/delete my comment in a post?
Open the post by clicking on your comment or View all comments.
iPhone/iPad: tap your comment and drag it to the left of the screen to open a menu.
Select Edit or Delete.
Android: Tap the three vertical dots to the right of your comment and a menu will open.
Choose Change or Delete.
Remind is a feature that sends a reminder to staff to check your comments.
How do I delete the dog's profile?
Open the My Dog tab and select your dog from the list.
Select the dog's profile and click on Change (the pen at the top right of the page).
Select Delete Profile at the bottom of the page and confirm your selection to delete your dog's profile.
Important! The choice to delete the dog's profile cannot be undone. All content such as photos and videos will be deleted.
How do I delete my profile?
Important! When you delete your profile, your dog's profile including photos and videos in the dog's portfolio will also be deleted.
If there are other registered dog owners connected to your dog, the dog's profile will not be deleted, only your profile.
Open the Settings tab and select My Profile.
Click on Change (the pen at the top right of the page) and select Delete Profile at the bottom of the page.
Confirm your choice to delete your profile.

How do I invite dog owners and staff?
Both Admin and staff users can invite dog owners.
Only Admin can invite staff users.
Note! Your dog day care center must have created a group for your dog owners and staff users to join.
Invite users is a feature to inform them that you are using Jojna but it is not a requirement to use the feature. They just need to download the app, register as a user and send the request to your dog day care center.
If you want to invite users to your doggy daycare, open the Dogs tab and select a group.
Tap Add under Dogs (to invite new dog owner) or under Staff (to invite new staff user).
Tap Invite new dog owner / Invite new staff and allow access to your contacts if you want to retrieve contact details from the address book on your device.
Select contact(s) in the list you want to invite and select Done.
You can choose to send the invitation by SMS or e-mail.
Tip. Want to invite people who are not in your device's address book?
Tap on Search and manually enter the person's phone number or email address in the search bar.
Then tap on the Invite button and your invitation will be sent.
How do groups work?
Admin must create at least one group in your dog daycare center for dog owners and staff users to join.
Groups are used if you want to divide dogs by size, boxes, area, etc. When creating posts, events or checking in/out dogs, you can select individual groups.
If you don't need to divide the dogs into different groups, you can create a single group for all your dogs.
How do I add/change/delete a group?
The admin of your dog daycare can create, modify and delete groups.
Creating a Group:
Open the Dogs tab and press Add(+ icon on the top right of the page).
Enter the Group Name and choose a colour highlight.
Press Next.
You can invite staff users to the group now or later.
Press Done.
Change Group:
Open the Dogs tab and select the group.
Press Change (the pen at the top right of the page) and make the desired changes.
Press Done.
Delete Group:
Important! All dogs belonging to the group will be removed from your dog daycare when the group is deleted. Please move dogs to another group before deleting the group if you still want them to be connected to your dog daycare.
Open the Dogs tab and select the group.
Press Show all staff.
Press Change (the pen at the top right of the page) and delete all staff users in the group by pressing the red tick.
Confirm your selection and press Done.
What is the difference between Admin and Staff users?
Admin manages groups and automatically has access to all groups in your dog daycare. Admin can invite, add and remove staff from group. Admin can also change dog daycare details and manage subscriptions.
Staff users only have access to group(s) approved by Admin.
Both Admin and Staff users can invite dog owners and move and remove dogs from the group.
Can we change Admin?
You can be several Admin at your doggy daycare. You can also change Admin from one staff member to another.
Add Administrator:
The admin of your dog daycare opens the Settings tab and presses Staff.
Select staff user and check Administrator permission.
Confirm the selection by pressing Assign.
Remove Administrator:
The administrator of your dog daycare opens the Settings tab and presses Staff.
Select Staff user and uncheck Administrator permission.
Confirm the selection by pressing Remove.
Remember that you must have at least one Admin at your doggy daycare.
How does the Today's Notice feature work?
Today's note is a feature to highlight important information for the day. The content of Today's Notice will appear as a fixed notice at the top of the Flow of all your users on the Dog Diary throughout the day.
Add Today's News:
Open the Dogs tab and select a group.
Press View all week and press the + icon (top right of the page).
Add information and select the date.
Press Done.
You can Change or Delete the content of the Today's note by tapping on the desired day on the Weekly note page and then selecting Change (the pen at the top right of the page) or Delete note (at the bottom of the page).
Can staff users belong to multiple groups?
When registering, Staff users choose their dog daycare centre and the group(s) they wish to belong to and submit their request. Admin automatically belongs to all groups in the dog daycare.
If a Staff user later wishes to belong to several groups, Admin can add the user to new groups or the Staff user can send new requests himself.
Send new request to group:
Open the tab Dogs.
Press Add(+)
Choose your dog daycare and the new group(s) you wish to belong to.
Send your request.
How does Admin add staff to a group?
Staff users can belong to several groups in your dog daycare.
Admin can add a staff user to multiple groups.
To add a staff user to a group:
Select the Dogs tab.
Select the group to which you want to add the staff user.
Press Add(+) under Staff.
Press + next to the staff user(s) you want to add to the group.
Select Done and confirm your selection.
What is the difference between posts in the Flow and Messages?
Flow posts are used to publish text content with or without attached photos/video/documents to group(s), staff, dogs' portfolio or everyone in your dog daycare.
In Messages, you can freely choose which user(s) in your dog daycare will receive the message. You can send text, photo or video to one or more recipients within different groups.
Can I edit/delete a post in the Flow?
You can change text in a post but not attached photos, videos or documents. If you want to change the attachments, you need to delete the post and create a new post where you attach the photo/video/document you want to publish.
To delete a post or change the text in a post, tap the three dots to the right of the post and select Change post or Delete post.
Can I change/delete a comment?
Open the post by clicking on the comment or View all comments.
iPhone/iPad: drag the comment to the left of the screen to open a menu.
Select Edit or Delete.
Android: Tap the three vertical dots to the right of the comment to open a menu.
Select Change or Delete.
How do I remove a dog?
Open the Dogs tab and select the group.
Click on View all dogs and select Change (the pen at the top right of the page).
Press the red tick to the right of the dog's name to remove the dog.
Select Done and confirm your selection.
How do I change the group of a dog?
Dogs can only belong to one group. You can change the group of a dog by opening the Dogs tab and selecting the group you want to move the dog to.
Select Add under Dogs and select the dog(s) you want to move to the group.
Select Done and confirm your selection.
How do I remove staff from a group?
Admin can remove staff users from a group.
Select the Dogs tab and click on the group to which the staff user belongs.
Press View all staff and select Change (pencil upwards on the page).
Select the user you want to remove by clicking on the check mark.
Select Done and confirm your selection.
Repeat this for all groups to which the staff user belongs if you want to remove the user completely from your dog daycare.
What do I do if my doggy day care centre does not appear in the list?
If you can't find your dog daycare in the list when you register as a Staff User, you can send a request to your dog daycare to get started with the dog daycare app free of charge.
Select Search and enter your dog daycare in the search field.
Select Add your dog daycare.
Enter Dog daycare, City and E-mail address of your dog daycare.
Press Send request.
Your request to get started with the doggy daycare app will be sent to the email address you have provided. Once the responsible person has added your dog daycare, it will appear in the list.
I have a new phone number. How do I change this?
You can change the phone number for logging in to your profile in the app.
Go to the Settings tab.
Select My profile.
Select Change.
Select Change phone number.
Enter the new phone number you want to log in with.
Select Save.
Log in to the app with your new phone number.

How do I delete my profile?
Important! When you delete your profile, all your data is deleted and the choice cannot be undone.
If you are the only Admin at your dog daycare, you must first appoint a new Admin before you can delete your profile.
Open the Settings tab and select My Profile.
Click on Change (the pen at the top right of the page) and select Delete Profile at the bottom of the page.
Confirm your choice to delete your profile.

How to invite Dog Owners and Staff to your dog daycare
Both Admin and staff users can invite dog owners.
Only Admin can invite staff users.
Note! Your dog daycare must have created a group in order for your dog owners and staff users to join.
Invite users is a feature to inform them that you are using Jojna, but it is not a requirement to use this feature. They only need to download the app, sign up as user and send a joining request to your dog daycare.
If you want to invite users to your dog daycare, open the Dogs tab and select a group.
Tap Add under Dogs (to invite a new dog owner) or under Staff (to invite a new staff user).
Tap Invite New Dog Owner / Invite New Staff Member and allow access to your contacts if you want to get the contact details from the address book on your device.
Select the contact(s) in the list that you want to invite and select Done.
You can choose to send the invitation via SMS or email.
FYI! Do you want to invite people who are not in the address book on your device?
Tap Search and enter the person's phone number or email address manually in the search field.
Then tap the Invite button and your invitation will be sent.
How do Groups work?
Admin must create at least one group for your dog owners and staff users to join your dog daycare.
Groups are used if you want to separate your dogs based on, for example, size or room. When creating posts, events or checking dogs in/out, you can select individual groups.
If you do not have any need to separate your dogs into different groups, you can create a joint group for all your dogs.
How to add, change and delete a group
Admin at your dog daycare has access to create, edit and delete groups.
Add Group:
Open the Dogs tab and tap Add (+ icon).
Enter group name and pick a color tag.
Tap Next.
You can invite Staff Users to the group now or later.
Tap Done.
Edit Group:
Open the Dogs tab and select group.
Tap Edit (pencil icon) and make your changes.
Tap Done.
Delete Group:
Note! All dogs connected to the group will be removed from your dog daycare when a group is deleted. Move the dogs to another group before deleting the group if the dogs are to remain connected to your dog daycare.
Open the Dogs tab and select group.
Tap See All Staff Members.
Tap Edit (pencil icon) and delete all staff users in the group by clicking Delete icon.
Confirm and tap Done.
What is the difference between Admin and Staff User
Admin manages groups and automatically has access to all groups at your dog daycare. Admin can invite, add and remove staff users from group. Admin can also change information about your dog daycare and manage the subscription.
Staff users only have access to group(s) approved by Admin.
Both Admin and Staff users can invite dog owners and move and remove dogs from groups.
How to change Admin at your dog daycare
You can be more than one Admins at your dog daycare. You can also change Admin from one staff user to another.
Add Admin:
Admin opens the Settings tab and taps Staff Members.
Select a staff user.
Enable Assign Admin role.
Confirm by tapping Assign.
Remove Admin:
Admin opens the Settings tab and taps Staff Members.
Select a staff user.
Disable Revoke Admin role.
Confirm by tapping Revoke.
Note. There have to be at least one Admin at your dog daycare.
How to add staff user to other group(s)
When Staff users are signing up, they select a dog daycare and the group(s) they want to be connected to. Staff can be connected to several groups.
Admin is automatically connected to all groups at your dog daycare.
If a Staff user wants to be connected to other group(s) later on, Admin can either add the Staff user to new group(s) or the Staff user can send a new joining requests.
Staff user: Send new joining request to group:
Open the Dogs tab.
Tap Add(+)
Select your dog daycare and the new group(s) you want to be connected to.
Send your joining request.
Admin: Add Staff user to group:
Select the Dogs tab.
Select the group to which you wish to add the staff user.
Tap Add (+) under Personnel.
Tap + next to the staff user(s) you want to add to the group.
Select Done and confirm your choice.
What is Today's Note?
Today's Note is a feature to highlight important information of today. The content of Today's Note is displayed as a fixed post at the top of the Feed for all users at your dog daycare throughout the day.
Add Today's Note:
Open the Dogs tab and select a group.
Tap See Full Week and tap the + icon (top right of the page).
Add information and select a date.
Tap Done.
You can Delete or Edit Today's Note by tapping a day on the Week Notes page and then selecting Edit Note (the pen at the top right of the page) or Delete Note (at the bottom of the page).
What is the difference between Post and Messages
Posts in Feed are used to publish text content with or without attached photos, videos and documents to group(s), Staff Members only, dogs' portfolios or everyone at your dog daycare.
In Messages, you can freely choose which user(s) at your daycare should receive the message. You can send text, photos and videos to one or several recipients within different groups.
How to change or delete a post in Feed
You can change text in a post but not attached photos, videos or documents. If you want to change attached files, you need to delete the post and create a new post where you attach the files that you want to publish.
To delete a post or change the text of a post, tap the three dots to the right of the post and select Edit Post or Delete Post.
How to change or delete a comment in Feed
Open the post by tapping the comment or Show all comments.
iPhone/iPad: Slide the comment to the left and a new menu will open.
Select Edit or Delete.
Android: Tap the three vertical dots to the right of the comment and a new menu will open.
Select Edit Comment or Delete Comment.
How to move dog to another group
Dogs can only be connected to one group at a time. You can change group for dogs by opening the Dogs tab and select the group you want the dog to be connected to.
Tap Add in Dogs field and select the dog(s) you want to move into this group.
Tap Done and confirm.
How to remove dog from your dog daycare
Open the Dogs tab and select group.
Tap See All Dogs.
Tap Edit (pencil icon).
Select the dogs you want to remove by tapping Delete icon.
Select Done and confirm.
How to remove staff from group
Admin can remove staff users from a group.
- Select Dogs tab and tap the group to which the staff user belongs.
- Tap See All Staff Members and select Edit (pencil icon).
- Select the user(s) you want to remove by tapping the red cross icon.
- Select Done and confirm.
What should I do if my dog daycare is not listed?
If you do not find your dog daycare in the list when signing up, you can send them a request to start using Jojna.
Tap Search and enter the name of your dog daycare in the search field.
Select Add Your Dog Daycare(+ icon).
Enter Daycare Name, City and Manager's Email.
Tap Send Request.
Your request to start using Jojna will be sent to the email address you have entered. Once the manager has activated an account for your dog daycare, you will be able to find it in the list.
How to change your phone number
You can change your phone number for logging into your profile in the app.
Go to the Settings tab.
Select My Profile.
Select Edit (top right of the page).
Select Change phone number.
Enter the new phone number you want to log in with.
Select Save.
Log in to the app with your new phone number.

How to delete your profile
Note. If you delete your profile, all your data is deleted and the deletion cannot be undone.
If your are the only Admin at your dog daycare, you must first assign another Admin or delete your Dog Daycare Account before you can delete your profile.
- Open Settings tab and select My profile.
- Tap Edit (pencil icon) and select Delete profile at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm to delete your profile.

What should I do if my dog daycare is not listed?
If you do not find your dog daycare in the list when signing up, you can send them a request to start using Jojna.
Tap Search and enter the name of your dog daycare in the search field.
Select Add Your Dog Daycare(+ icon).
Enter Daycare Name, City and Manager's Email.
Tap Send Request.
Your request to start using Jojna will be sent to the email address you have entered. Once the staff has activated an account for your dog daycare, you will be able to find it in the list.
How to connect multiple dog owners to the same dog
Every dog owner who wants to join a dog profile needs to sign up in the app and Add dog. If another dog owner has already created a profile for your dog, you will be prompted to join the same dog profile when you add your dog.
Note! Be sure to enter the same Name, Breed and Date of Birth for your dog as the first dog owner provided when adding your dog.
If you enter the same dog details, you will be prompted to connect to the same dog.
Select Get Linked and you will be connected to the same dog when your request is approved.
If you are not prompted to connect to the same dog, you have entered different details for Name, Breed or Date of Birth compared to the details previously entered for the dog. Check and compare dog details with the first dog owner.
How to add Contacts
Dog owners are registered as users in Jojna. This means that the person has their own login with the authority to manage their own profile and the dog's details.
Contacts are not registered as users in Jojna. The person does not have access to change their own profile or the dog's information.
Dog owners are responsible for adding, changing and deleting the dog's Contacts.
Contacts are people for whom the staff should have contact details in case of need.
Note. You do not need to add another dog owner as a Contact if that person wants to sign up as a user in Jojna. All registered dog owners who are connected to the dog are automatically displayed under Contacts.
To add a Contact, open the My dog tab and tap your dog.
Select Contacts and tap Add(+ icon).
Enter the contact's details and select Save.
To change or delete a Contact, open the contact's profile and select Edit or Delete.
How to hide your profile
You can hide your profile from other dog owners at your daycare. However, the staff can always see your profile.
Open the Settings tab and select My Profile.
Tap Edit (the pencil at the top right of the page) and select Hide my profile and select Done.

You can hide your dog's profile from other dog owners at your daycare. The staff can always see your dog's profile.
Open the My Dog tab and select your dog from the list.
Select the Dog Details
(On iPhone: tap Edit)
Activate Hide dog's profile and select Done.
How to change your dog's profile
If you want to change details for your dog (for example Name or Profile picture), open the My Dog tab and tap on your dog.
Select the dog's profile and click on Edit (the pencil at the top right of the page).
Change the details and select Done.
How do I add multiple dogs?

Select dog daycare and group and enter the dog's details.

How to add or change my dog's schedule

Enter schedule for the days that your dog needs dog daycare. The days that your dog does not need dog daycare, no schedule is specified.
Tap + to add schedule.

Then you choose the day on which this schedule should end.

Tap Edit (the pencil at the top right of the page) to change times. Select Done.
What is Report Absence feature?
On My dog page, there is a feature for Report Absence. When you enable this feature, the dog is shown as Reported absence (Day Off) to the staff. This applies immediately until you disable the feature.
If you instead want to report the dog as absent in advance during an upcoming period, you should omit the schedule for the days the dog is to be absent. That is, your dog is present on the days when a schedule is specified.
What is the Dog's Portfolio?
The dog's portfolio collects all posts in which the staff has tagged your dog.
Open the My dog tab and select your dog in the list.
Select Portfolio to see all the posts that the staff have added to your dog's portfolio.
How to change your phone number

How do I delete my dog's profile?
Open the My dog tab and select your dog in the list.
Select the dog's profile and click on Edit (pen on the top right of the page).
Select Delete this profile at the bottom of the page and confirm your selection to delete your dog's profile.
Note! The choice to delete the dog's profile is irreversible. All content such as photos and videos are deleted.
How to delete your profile
Note! When you delete your profile, your dog's profile is also deleted, including photos and videos in the dog's portfolio.
If there are other registered dog owners connected to your dog, the dog's profile will not be deleted, only your profile.
Open the Settings tab and select My Profile.
Click on Edit (the pen at the top right of the page) and select Delete this profile at the bottom of the page.
Confirm your selection to delete your profile.
